Baidu A.i: Know You Again
A wearable glasses that helps Alzheimers patients recognize their loved ones
Baidu’s facial recognition and artificial intelligence was listed on MIT Review as one of the 10 breakthrough technologies of 2017. So the questions right now, how will you make these technology ‘more human and How can we show that this thing can change lives?
These are the challenges that we were tasked to do. We all know that technology doesn’t have feelings, yet. But we can teach it to help us navigate through life.
An eye glasses frame was created to house Baidu's technology. We created this wearable product to help early-onset Alzheimer’s patients in China lead better lives. It will not help them to bring back their lost memories but this will guide them to recognise their love ones and to let them know that they are not in this alone.

Design Prototype
We want to quickly visualize and explore different possibilities of the design through a quick sketch. We explored on an ear clip and different types of eye glasses frame. Prototyping makes faster to communicate and validate design changes on paper than on Photoshop.
