Quality is at the heart of DaVinci Gourmet. They are committed to make every mixologist create a flavorful experience.
Mixologists usually talk to customers first to get a sense of their palate, but doing so takes a tremendous amount of time. In a busy bar with hundreds of clubgoers thirsty for a great night out, cocktails end up being rushed and the quality of these drinks suffer.
Mood Mixologist intelligent booth was placed in Above the Globe Bar, one of the most famous bars in Shanghai, China that could track different facial points and interpret them right down to the smallest micro-expression. The booth was able to accurately recognize the current emotional state of the customer in just mere seconds, and the system would recommend a cocktail based on the 21 cocktails that were crafted according to the Human Emotion Wheel.

Design Housing Prototype
We explore different scenarios of a customers' journey while they are using the system. The first two options are simple, it is flexible, and cheap but it lacks privacy. The other one is a telephone booth where it gives an intimate setting which the user can be on their own while interacting to the interface.

Design Studies
We are taking inspiration from DaVinci's obsession with geometry. Which also inclined with the brands identity. We played around the tinted transparent and translucent materials that show layering, depth and can interact with light. Then created a design that can inspire to create fun and flavorful experience.
